“Overall, the team did well,” senior Tess Black reported, satisfied with herself and with the team this year. However, senior Abigail Copella disagreed. “The team wasn’t so hot this year, but there were a few all-star swimmers,” she stated. State gold medalist and senior at East Pennsboro, Leah Gingrich, led the team in swimming for the past four years.Copella predicted that the team may suffer next year without Gingrich.

Black and Copella do agree on two topics: advice for younger swimmers, as well as their overall opinion of swim team. “Always having fun is key,” explained Copella, in hopes to inspire other swimmers. Both girls exclaimed, “I love swim team!”
