The East Pennsboro Area High School's girls soccer team has been doing well this spring with only two losses, sending them on their way towards Districts. “We’re off to a really good start,” stated senior Rebecca Grove at the beginning of this year's soccer season. Fortunately, their luck has not changed. East Pennsboro even defeated their biggest rival, Trinity High School. “Trinity is #1 and we are #2,” explained senior and captain Abigail Dyson, “It felt great to beat them.” The soccer team not only performs well, but gets along well, too. “The team is really close, and we all work well together,” said Grove. Both Grove and Dyson agree that all players are an important part of their team. “You need the whole team; there is no particular player that outshines the rest,” reported Grove. “Everyone contributes with different strengths,” added Dyson. |
