The East Pennsboro High School junior varsity team has won an incredible three out of their five games. The varsity team has won an outstanding four out of six games. They practice six out of seven days a week, everyday except Sunday. They have games two to four times a week. Their practices take place at the elementary school field of the gym.

Though the girls practice a great amount of time, their success is not only because of their hard work and dedication; it is also greatly affected by their coaches who push them to do their best: Coach Ash, Coach Duncan, Coach Dively, Coach Sgrignoli, Coach Dierich, and Coach LaBella. “I’ve been doing this since I was six, and it’s really fun,” says varsity pitcher Ashley Marsh when asked how long she’s been participating in softball. Marsh, like most other girls, admits to getting nervous before a game. When asked what is the hardest part about softball, sophomore Marissa Schneider says, “I think losing is the hardest part.”  Through all their hard work, dedication, and help from their coaches, they have given East Pennsboro an outstanding softball team.
