Get your popcorn ready; it’s the NFL playoffs. This Saturday the Greenbay Packers and the New York Giants, fresh from what might be the biggest upset in the playoffs this year, take each other on. The other playoff game will consist of the unbeaten 17-0 New England Patriots and the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers may be forced to play without quarterback Philip Rivers, running back LaDainian Tomlinson, and tight end Antonio Gates. Both sophomore Justin Dively and Freshman Matt Letterman predict that "all the injured people will play." "The Patriots are a good team," said Dively. Letterman said, "They have a good chance." Dively has the Chargers pulling off the upset 28-24, while Letterman predicts the Patriots winning 24-14. When it comes the Super Bowl, Dively would like to see the Packers win. "I would like to see Farve dominate again," said Dively. Letterman has the Patriots winning. "There so good, nobody can beat them." In the Packers and Giants game the weather is predicted to be very cold at 4 degrees, with a wind chill that will make the air feel sub-zero. "The Packers will win 35-21," said Dively. "They're a complete team; they have both offense and defense." Dively also added, "the Giants pulled off the biggest upset so far beating the Cowboys." Letterman predicted the Packers to win 35-14. "The Giants are garbage," said Letterman, who believes that Brett Farve is the best quarterback behind Tom Brady. So tune in and find out who wins. Get ready for some football! |
