Boys Basketball Team Works Hard Through Winter Break PDF Print E-mail

The East Pennsboro Area High School boys’ basketball team wins 3rd in the annual winter break basketball tournament held right here in our gym. The boys lost to Bishop McDevitt, 64-46 on Friday December 28 and defeated Lebanon, 33-31 on Saturday December 29.

While most of the students were taking a break eating cookies and sleeping, the boys’ basketball team was working hard at practice to prepare for their upcoming tournament. Senior Kyle Allwein, a member on this year’s Varsity team said, “The coaches have us working hard even through Christmas break.” Head Coach Steve Ludensloger has been doing a great job in their standings of 4:9.

Junior Captain TJ Ondesko said, “We work well together some quarters and others not as good. This is when we get too far behind [the other team].”

The high school boys’ basketball team only plays Susquehanna in the regular season. “It’s nice to get a chance to play other teams,” says Allwein.
