On February 10, 2008, the NFL Pro Bowl was held at Aloha Stadium, Honolulu, at 4:30 ET. The Pro Bowl is a game where the best of the best from around the league get together and play against each other.
The teams are split up by what conference you are in, either the AFC of the NFC. This year the records of all the teams should have heavily favored the AFC. But the NFC thought different. They were down early, but later on fought their way back into it. With the help of up and coming running back, Adrian Peterson, who scored two touchdowns the NFC pulled out a 42-30 victory over the AFC. To get into the Pro Bowl you are voted in by the fans, so not everyone who should get in does. When asked who else should have gotten in, Junior Nate Smith said, “I think Santonio Holmes should have made it.” Even though the Pro Bowl isn’t supposed to be very competitive, the players still want to win. They just don’t play as hard to ensure that they don’t get injured. “I enjoyed the Pro Bowl very much and was happy with the outcome,” said Junior Dylan Snyder. |
