Megan Albright and Casey Carr give their opinions on the outcome of the 2008 Presidential Election next November. “I’ll join the Democratic party when I turn 18,” Albright says, while Casey Carr states that he will be independent.
Although Albright and Carr are in two different political groups, they share the same values. Both want Barack Obama to win as the Democratic candidate for the election. “I just agree with his beliefs and his needs for the country,” says Albright.
The fact that Barack Obama is a black person running for president may cause major issues with some people. However, Albright and Carr agree that this detail has no effect on them. “I think it’s a great step up for our country. I don’t really view it as any different than a white person running; it doesn’t really matter,” says Albright. Carr briefly stated, “He’s just a person.”
Hillary Clinton, the first woman to run for president, also attracts a lot of different opinions. Albright believes that “there’s no quality that women don’t have that men do that would make men more suitable for the job.” Carr agrees that a woman could make a suitable president, “but not Hillary.”
Did Bush make a good president? Both Albright and Carr responded with an immediate “No!” Albright’s reasons were that he started an unnecessary war, and Carr complained about the national debt becoming increasingly larger. What happens if a Democratic candidate wins? Carr doesn’t think much of the country will change, and Albright speaks about the positive changes. “There will be an overall sense of national pride and a better country to live in.”

Who gives a * about the democrats, they'll friggen run the country into the ground! We don't need flaming liberals in the government! We need a conservative! A Republican! A ZART! I love how liberal the media is. This article didn't even touch on the conservative candidates, which are the candidates to vote for.
