As the school year comes to an end, seniors prepare for their last days at East Pennsboro Area High School. “I’m really excited to graduate!” exclaimed senior Leighanne Alger. Although most seniors would agree that they feel the same way, many are reluctant to part with their friends and classmates. “I’m going to be living at home next year while I attend college, but most of my friends are leaving,” explained senior Ryan Lindsey, “I won’t know what to do without them.” Alger, however, does not seem to be too worried. “I know a lot of people going to college with me, and it feels great to know I have them there,” she stated. In the last month of school, senior-oriented activities such as prom, baccalaureate, senior picnic, senior skip day, and graduation makes stress become a large factor in senior students’ lives. Lindsey claimed that he was “very calm and collected,” despite some extra pressure. |
