Senior Alicia Dinkle is student of the week chosen by history teacher, Mr. Lee Seibert, for the week of January 14th through the 18th. Dinkle, who had Mr. Seibert in her sophomore year, is also involved in community service. She takes part in things like Special Olympics and Spanish Ninos. Spanish Ninos is a program where students from East Pennsboro Area High School go to the elementary schools and teach Spanish to young children. Dinkle has taught 2nd graders at East Pennsboro Elementary School for about three years now and really enjoys it. “Making people feel good about themselves and giving back to the community,” was Dinkle’s response when asked what her favorite part of community service was. Dinkle is a very talented student. She is an honor roll student and is very accomplished. She is a really determined student and plans to go to college right after she finishes high school at Syracuse University. |
