Every week, East Pennsboro Area High School’s History teacher Lee Seibert picks out a student that deserves recognition for giving back to others.
This week that student is senior Kaitlynn Nale. The reason for Seibert choosing her is, “She is a hardworking adolescent that does not mind putting time in helping others with tasks.” Nale contributes an estimated twelve to sixteen hours of community service every month. After putting in the hours, Nale said she enjoys the feeling of fulfillment. Nale participates in many activities such as National Honor Society, Living Skills, East Pennsboro Area Library, and Hospice. Hospice is a company that helps out elders.Nale said that in future years she is going to try to make time to keep involved. Nale said, “It’s nice to give back to the community and I do not see why anyone has any reason not to be able do it.” No one has commented on this article. |
