Although Pennsylvania is one of the most important states in the presidential general election, it usually has very little importance in the presidential primaries, but this year Pennsylvania was extremely important in the Democratic primary.
Senior Jeremy Franczek did not vote in the Democratic primaries, but knew that Hillary Clinton won the Pennsylvania primary. Franczek said, “I plan on voting for McCain in the general election.” Despite Clinton’s Pennsylvania win Franczek, and fellow senior Allison Heck, think that it is going to be a close race that will most likely come down to the Democratic National Convention. Heck said, “I want Obama to win the Democratic nomination, but I think Clinton will win.” Like Franczek, Heck plans on voting for McCain in the general election. Remember to get out and vote so that your voice will be heard. |
