The movie Cloverfield just came out about two weeks ago, and it is already one if the most talked about movies around East Pennsboro Area High School.
Cloverfield is one of those movies you either love or hate. There have been many different reactions to the movie. The movie takes place in Manhattan. The movie is filled with great realism; the entire movie is shot on one kid's hand-held video camera to give you the effect that the whole thing actually happened. The actors in the movie seem like they are just everyday people that no one has heard of. That’s what makes the movie great, and makes you believe the story could be true The whole movie starts in an apartment in Manhattan when a bunch of friends are having a going away party for Jason’s brother Rob who got a corporate VP position in Japan. The movie takes a complete turn. They hear noises and feel shakes so they run outside to see the broken head of the Statue of Liberty come flying through the air. As for the rest, I guess you will just have to see and experience it yourself. Overall, it was a great movie with a lot of unexpected action and amazing special effects. If you’re not into the “monster” thing, you may not enjoy the movie. Go see it, you won't be let down. |
