Last week Senior Abby Copella was awarded student of the week at East Pennsboro Area High School for her academic achievements and great amount of community service.
The question was asked why do you think you were picked? Copella says, “Because I am a good student and I work hard.” Sports are a good thing to have also. Copella said, “I play field hockey and swim.” Besides her academic achievements, we asked about what else goes into making the honor. “I strive for the best,” Copella added. She has a lot of hours in community service. There are many opportunities for community service hours. Copella said, “ I participate in the Playground Pals during school and out of school I do work around the area and such to help out and earn hours.” There’s always something exciting about getting out of school early. When asked about her favorite experiences, Copella said, “Seeing the kids. They're so much fun to be around.” No one has commented on this article. |
