The new teacher taking over for Mr. Stankus is Mrs. Jaclyn Williams.
When Mr. Stankus suddenly was not in school due to a medical emergency, the rumors started about who the new teacher was going to be. Well, we all have our answer now. The new teacher is a young, female in search of her English teaching degree named Mrs. Williams. A majority of her students have stated that she is the "coolest" teacher that they have ever had. Sophomore Eric Bryner said, “She is seriously the friendliest teacher I have ever met.” Mrs. Williams is a graduate of Greenwood High School in Liverpool, Pennsylvania. After high school she went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies at West Chester University. She is currently working on her English teaching degree from Wilson College. When asked why East Pennsboro Area High School, she replied, “East Pennsboro was looking for an English teacher, and I was looking for a job.” However, many students still wonder why she wants to be a teacher. “I enjoy teaching students how to become better readers and writers,” was Mrs. Williams response to what makes her want to get up early every morning and teach a bunch of teenagers. |
