The National Spanish Exam and the National French Exam are advanced tests French and Spanish students had the opportunity to take. They test your knowledge of the language in several areas. There are listening, picture, and basic question sections. Students are tested in comprehension and vocabulary. East Pennsboro Area High School students are not the only ones taking this exam. This is held nationwide as a standardized test similar to the PSSA’s. The National Spanish Exam will be taking place April 7 and 8. Andrea Robertson, a Spanish IV student said, “We have been down in the library practicing everyday since the beginning of the trimester.” For Senora Bosnyak’s class the exam is mandatory and will be a part of their grade. The National French Exam already took place and was available to all of the French students. It was optional, but they were strongly encouraged to participate. Laura Raymond, a French II student said, “The hardest section for me was listening because they spoke so fast.” The tests are challenging, but it helps to show how much you have learned. |
